Chris Fisher Law is a boutique firm dedicated to the provision of top-notch legal services for those injured, and the families of those killed, by another's negligence. Attorneys, Chris and Amy Fisher, have a combined 40 years of experience in the insurance and personal injury arena. They have dedicated their careers to analyzing how insurance carriers adjust claims, how to resolve cases pre-suit and how to present your case to a jury when carriers do not negotiate reasonably.
Chris Fisher graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Sociology. During law school at Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center, Chris served as Lead Articles Editor of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law and graduated with pro bono honors for his service in the Broward County Guardian Ad Litem Program. After graduation, Chris trained as an insurance defense attorney representing insurance companies in PIP, bodily injury, wrongful death and property damage claims. Eager to try cases to a jury, Chris served as a trial attorney in the Dade County Public Defender's Office. Over 15 years ago, Chris founded Chris B. Fisher, P.A. with a concentration on personal injury and wrongful death cases. Chris also continued to represent defendants who found themselves with no insurance coverage, and companies covered under a captured insurance company. Chris obtained rare access to the internal workings, thought processes and methods of claims adjustment from the insurance carriers' perspective. As a result of this dual training, Chris is able to apply his knowledge of how to best present a claim for maximum impact to all of his plaintiff cases. Chris has taken on the largest insurance carriers in the country in cases involving commercial trucking / transportation, contstruction, auto accidents, maintenance of traffic and medical malpractice, including cases with catastrophic injuries and deaths. Chris is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar and Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is awarded to attorneys who have achieved settlements and/or trial verdicts in excess of one million and two million dollars, respectively. Chris is available for cases throughout the entire state of Florida. In his time away from the office, Chris enjoys playing the drums, guitar, teaching his kids music, triathlon, camping and kayaking.
Amy Fisher graduted magna cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Philosophy. During law school at the University of Miami, Amy earned multiple awards for academic achievement, served on the Inter-American Law Review and ultimately graduated cum laude. Amy also earned a coveted clerkship at the Third District Court of Appeals, where she researched legal issues and drafted opinions for Judge Joseph Nesbitt. After law school, Amy worked in the Commercial Litigation department at one of Florida's largest law firms. She then practiced insurance defense where she specialized in the litigation and trial of bodily injury automobile accident claims. Amy has spent the last 15 years applying all of her knowledge and skills to plaintiff personal injury and wrongful death cases. Amy trains and holds a black-belt in Mu Do Kai karate, enjoys reading, camping and spending time with her kids and family.
